| Introduction:
This is short story about how I discovered the world of tattoo. I was really
young when I started to make tattoo. I had just16 years old when
I saw my older brother to make tattoo to himself using just two needles
and bottle of ink. To emulate my brother I made my first tattoo to myself
with rudimentary technic. It was simple motiv, just my initials, and not
so perfect work. First real tattoo artist I met later in punk rock ambient
of Milan in 1987, his name was Claudio Pittan, today's famous italian tattoist.
While he was covering my "first work" I could see for the first time in
my life proffessional tattoo stuff and machine. The motiv was my own drawing
in tribal style and I still have it on my left arm. In that period I was
in contact and colaborating with more tattoist. I started to work like
amateur tattoist 5 years later in Milan under leading of my friends, who
helped me to know secrets of tattoo art. Finally in 1996 I opened my first
shop in Milan and started to work like proffessional tattoo artist.
In this time I live and work in Costa Brava in Spain. Although in this
time I prefer mostly tribal and japanese style, but we never stop to learn. |
